Issie saw Angelique's face turn deathly pale.
"No, wait! Stop! I don't want to - " She didn't get the chance to finish her sentence because, at that moment, Eugene pulled a sword out of the props chest next to him and lashed out, bringing the flat side down hard on Stardust's rump, letting go of the palomino's bridle at the same time.
Stardust, who was already wild-eyed with fear, felt the blow on her rump and immediately leapt forward as Angelique let out a terrified scream.
"Action!" Eugene shouted with a grin as Stardust bolted towards the first terrace. "Action!!"
